Description
This is the first image I made in the Suitcases series.
It can mean different things to different people, depending on your past experiences.
To me this image is about sorting out your “stuff”. It’s about contemplation and analysis.
The dark sky above and the sun breaking through, represents to me the knowledge that there is light after the storm even though weight of darkness is above.
The man in the hat is anonymous so the viewer can place themselves in the picture and feel their own past.
This image actually was a feeling and story that someone told me about dealing with their “stuff” and I wanted to represent it visually for him. He has seen it and loved it. He actually owns the first print.
